Orange Fever!

The sun was out, although it was still rather chilly and Scottish weather loves to pray pranks....laying in bed all day is not in any way productive. I got up and took a walk round my little village <3

Night in the town; OOTN

Nights out never fail to be so eventful! We ran in the rain, screamed, laughed and did our bit to the community by helping an elderly across the road while under the influence of alcohol.....

DIY - Blue bag

For some reason today seemed to pass by so slow, or maybe because I was quite scared to get out the house due to the date and all? Either way I decided to make my own bag out of an old bodycon skirt to minimise the boredom. I played around with it and the results weren't too bad.....

How to make your own.....don't worry if you don't fully understand what I mean there's pictures which follow on how to.
  1. Find a skirt which you no longer need, I have chosen this blue bodycon
  2. You will need a needle, thread, measuring tape, bag handle and a pair of scissors
  3. Turn the skirt inside out and measure in the length you would like your bag to be and mark it with a black pen and create a straight line all the way down the skirt, this is going to be a guideline to where you should thread.
  4. Choose a thread with a shade closest to the colour of your skirt and thread down the line you previously made.
  5. Repeat step 3 & 4 to the bottom and top side of the skirt. This will leave you with the 3 sides of the skirt threaded and one of the long sides untouched.
  6. Turn the skirt back to the right side and you should see the skirt taking shape. Fold in about 2cm of each of the long sides so the edges are smooth.
  7. This is optional, you can insert a zip, and hold the bag by hand or go for the bag handle option, I had ran out of the zips therefore i went for the bag handle option. Take the bag handle (Can find removable ones in clutches or simply cut it out an old clutch/bag) and thread it to each side of the bag.
Your bag is done! You can accessorize the bag by adding beads/ribbon etc.
